ReportSync is an Automation Think Tank. We design and build practical automation systems for the businesses that keep the world running — tradespeople, service operators, and small teams who deserve tools built for them, not adapted from enterprise software.
Every product that comes out of the ReportSync Think Tank is shaped by a set of core principles. These aren't marketing promises — they're the design constraints we hold ourselves to on every system we build.
We design systems that react the instant something happens — not on a polling schedule. Real-world business moves fast. Your automation should too.
No proprietary platforms. No data hostage situations. Every system we build runs on infrastructure you control — so your automation outlasts any vendor relationship.
We don't build systems that require a team to maintain. Every tool we ship is intentionally minimal — fast to deploy, easy to understand, and built to run unattended.
We build on infrastructure that lasts — not the platform of the month. The goal is automation that still works five years from now without a rebuild.
Our first product out of the Think Tank. Tailhook is an automated lead capture system built for blue-collar business owners — HVAC techs, plumbers, roofers, and electricians who are great at their trade but need leads to come to them automatically.
ReportSync was founded by Eric Skelton — an Air Force veteran, 20-year corporate finance professional, and 15-year automation practitioner.
Eric's career began in the United States Air Force, where he served as an F-15 Crew Chief — maintaining one of the most sophisticated aircraft ever built. That experience instilled a core truth: complex systems only work when every component is precisely calibrated and reliably maintained.
After his military service, Eric spent 20 years in corporate finance, navigating large-scale financial systems and data workflows. Over that time, he built a parallel expertise in automation — from Excel macros that saved teams hundreds of hours, to sophisticated Alteryx workflows that transformed how organizations process data.
The insight that led to ReportSync came from watching small business owners struggle with the same problems that enterprise automation had already solved. ReportSync is the Think Tank he built to close that gap. Tailhook is the first product. More are in development.
Tell us about your business and the process you want to automate. Eric will personally review your situation and recommend the right solution.
